Wondering what I'm talking about (above), well to my surprise my UPS delivery man showed up with a unexpected package in tote. We weren't expecting anything but when I opened the box and saw what was enclosed (Sold Out Everywhere: Mosley Tribes x Crooks & Castles Castellanos), I called my Fav 5 (customers), and guess what each of them said, put my name on it I'm coming today. Keneth even called from New York and got his. They all Sneak Peek, what about you? And if you don't then ask yourself why, unless you enjoy looking like everyone else and wearing clothing 2 or 3 seasons old, then by all means go there. I'm gonna laugh so hard when someone comes and ask us about those things in a couple weeks. Nothing more to say, Goodnight and Until We Speak Again PEACE.

Where Do I Start.......................................

So many things have happened in the last 2 days I don't really know where to begin. I'm gonna get in what I can before we close and the rest will be posted tomorrow. Well after long waiting the people I can actually say have never let me down came thru again. RaEisha finished painting the signage and Mr. Minkin came to hang it. Its really beautiful (well at least I think so). I had to actually point it out to people that have been coming to the store since we opened with nothing up there, and when I asked Devin, he didn't say anything bad so I guess its okay. Tanyel told me no one would love the store like I do, so ................. who cares what yall think its up and its beautiful (but if you do like it let me know). We still have more to complete but just that up is a step in the right direction. Okay whats next (you know I'm never satisfied). No more driving back and fourth down Marshall Ave. trying to find where we are, when you see the Golden...........ummmmmm I won't call it arches (we gonna find a name for it). Well last night I Became A Witness of The Great King James in person. Now I'm well aware that as a visitor the man should have been boooooooooed, but truthfully you can not. Its one thing to see him play on television but in person is a whole different story. Even on a sub-par night he was nothing short of amazing and gave the crowds their monies worth as there was not a sad face in the building, except I'm sure in the Home Locker Room. Getting to the inspiring part. Keeping in mind that I have only been in the city of Memphis for a little over 2 years, I have never seen that many people at a Grizzlies game before, not only that but I have never seen that many people at a Grizzlies game that excited before. And to think all of this over the presence of one man. As I sat back in my seat just thinking about what exactly was going on, I got so inspired. Inspired to do great things, achieve greatness, and be the absolute best at what I am doing. I can somewhat say that the story of Mr. James reminds me of Sneak Peek. He really had a rough start when he entered the league, though everyone was aware that he was gonna be the one of the best there was, so many things had to be improved to his very unpolished, raw, and un-rounded game, but he truly desired to be the best. Looking at Sneak Peek I see the same. We have great potential to not only be the greatest boutique in the city of Memphis, but in the south, in the nation, and in the world. Right now its just potential, our business (in my own opinion) is new, we have no reputation, and we are learning on the job, but we have the desire to be the best and the drive to actually make that reality. Now looking at Mr. James he has it all; the skills, the power, the athletic ability, and the heart. He has gotten to the point where his basketball skills have allowed him to reach into other markets and hopefully master those on his mission to become a billionaire. Everything listed above came on the back of hard work. Sneak Peek and everyone involved works hard at what we do and we deeply desire to master our industry. Look at us now and look and us in a couple years or maybe months and we will be exactly what we set out to be.......................The Greatest. Many of us often forget that though Jordans look great on our feet, they were also the 1st Basketball Shoe that used technical research to improve how the game is played and how the athlete feels during competition. A Sneak Peek at Kanye's New Louis Vuitton Shoe (Yeah Thats Right Kanye's Louis Vuitton Shoe)

Well let me 1st clear up the fact that I don't know Mr.West personally, so me referring to him as Kanye is totally not me........... So let me revise this thing. Kanye West has been busting his ass over at LV headquarters (and people said he was just doing it to keep his name relevant, SILLY FOOLS). Well yesterday Mr. West gave the world a preview of some collab pieces he has been working on. A pretty spiffy Deck Shoe wrapped in all white leather with a white sole, and you know there will be some special details that will be revealed once it drops. This is just one of the six footwear designs he has been working on and we can't wait to see what else comes from this beautiful relationship. For those of you who have been asking about the Air Yeezy's, the release date is still uncertain but it will be around March, April, or May (I was at least able to narrow it down to 3 months for yall) and trust we are working diligently to make sure we will have them. Sneak Peek Is Getting A Sign: We Official Now

Well yesterday was rather a busy day, and though it was pretty un-entertaining (most real business isn't) one bright spot of the day was when Sneak Peek Family Member Mr. Minkin came through the door with a bunch of stuff to begin on our signage. Everything came along pretty well, within a week or so it should be up along with the rest of the stuff. Check the photos as it comes along. Hip Hop Rules The World: Lil Wayne Invades ESPN and ESPN2 "First Take"

For those of you who doubt the power of the Hip Hop dollar (Black Peoples Money), just check this out. I got a call this morning from Sneak Peek Family Member Jade, telling me I had to turn to ESPN, well it was impossible because I was at the store but when I heard who was on, I wondered across the street to Quetzal's to check it out on the Big Screen. Weezy F. Baby aka Lil' Wayne was on one of my favorite shows on my favorite channel, ESPN's First Take and he handled his business against Skip Bayless (who murders everyone who steps up to the plate). This just shows you the influence we have as a people, as a community, and as a generation. If you are not taking full advantage of this great thing called Hip Hop to further your life, your education, you financial situation, or your status in your community then your a fool. New Music Monday: Advice On Producing From The Neptunes

There were no albums being released this week that are worth notating, so I searched the net for a couple hours trying to find something to replace the New Music Monday segment. I was about ready to give up when I ran across this. The Neptunes sat down for a quick interview with datpiff.com and spoke some knowledge on producing music. Not For Everyone (N4E1) Denim

Well we took some photos of these when they first arrived but I do not believe they did this denim from Not For Everyone any justice, so I borrowed these photos without asking, just to display some the great detail and features of these very rare jeans. Some of the features include the Ostrich Leather (Faux) across the butt, Gold and Leather jean strap (included free with jeans), and N4E1 Logo Print Under the Cuffs. New Music Monday: Common, Keisha Cole, Plies, Anthony Hamilton .....................

Well with Christmas coming up next week alot of artist are dropping New Albums this week hopefully to boost sales and have good first week showings on the charts, its a pretty good idea, especially since most of the albums are coming from pretty good artist. Tomorrow December 16, 2008 3 artist that we at Sneak Peek personally enjoy will be dropping new music which is almost guaranteed to be great. Those artist would be Keisha Cole (A Different Me), Anthony Hamilton (The Point of It All), and Lil Wayne (Dedication 3 with DJ Drama). Another artist that is releasing yet another disc is The Self Professed Goon Himself "Plies", (The image above is not the Album Cover, but the new album is titled "Da Realest" I just couldn't find the new one yet) I am not a huge fan, but the man is undeniably a hard worker and he makes some bangers (that I often listen to...... had to cover my ass because we don't want to end up on the wrong side of the goons), but something about the whole ski mask image doesn't rub me the right way. Anyway, in closing I feel really bad because I just realized that I left someone out of the last installation of New Music Monday and that was Mr. Chicago himself, Common, I have heard mixed reviews about the new direction this album is going but never the less it's Common (with alot of Pharrel) so you know your gonna like it eventually even if it takes some time to grow on you. Well in our never ending quest to determine "What The True Definition of Style Is", we have another installation to add to our customer interviews. I must truly say that I gain a deeper look into what our customers think everytime I do these interviews, VERY INTERESTING STUFF. Everyone thinks something different and expresses an opinon that has been formulated by something or someone in their life. I always finish these with a deeper perspective of what is the definition of style and in the next installation I will give a deeper look into what I have come to conclude. Well our shipment from Gourmet didn't show up today :( I guess the Sneaker Gods aren't on my side this week, but I have offically confirmed that they will be here Monday December 15. Well its so ugly outside, :( THE DAY SUCKS, but one good thing is that IT'S TUESDAY which means new music is out and BATMAN - The Dark Knight is finally out on DVD. Checking the new release section the choices are few but one gem is definitely Musiq Soulchild. Known for always delivering heat on every album, I'm sure this one will be nothing short of greatness. I heard the new single and though it shows a different side of Musiq (POP, T-Pain shit), I'm sure the new album will be back to basics. Well anyone who knows me and knows how I feel about music probably has heard me say numerous times that I was never really a fan of Tupac's music. Except for a couple songs I have always thought he was a great writer but an average rapper. (Pausing to wait for you to stop screaming at the computer). Well I'm still not a serious lover of the deceased rapper, but I will say this song has been added to the list of the ones I like. It probably has been played in the truck 100 times since I first heard it on Sunday, it just has a really smooth vibe and that is totally up my alley. Check it out and let us know what you think.
