So Friday July 24, 2009 Me and The Boss Lady Went By Clear Channel Studios To Make A Delivery Of Some Very Dope Gear For The K97.1 FM Radio Personalities To Wear During Summer Jam 2009. The Guys Went Crazy As We Came Through With Bags and Bags of Goodies. Afterwards We Hung Around For A Couple Hours Chopping It Up With The President of Afternoon Radio, Mr. Devin Steel. I Truly Felt (As I Always Do) Like I Was Speaking With A Grizzled War Veteran, As His Knowledge of Music and Life In General Is Vast. Most of you have heard or seen by now that Drake, previously scheduled to perform in Memphis on July 18th at Minglewood Hall, has torn his ACL playing basketball.
"Well, I got a couple weeks of rehab ahead of me," he said. "Right now the knee is, it's slipping, so I would not be able to perform right now. But I'm going to be in the studio and in rehab."
Drake’s management has said the Memphis concert as well as concerts scheduled in Illinois and Indiana will be Rescheduled but no dates have been confirmed yet.

The Memphis Youth Manifesto is a project headed up by Dr. Kenneth Whalum Jr. and the members of New Olivet Baptist Church, they aim to take back the future of the City of Memphis by concentrating of the youth that will be the future leaders of our communities. Me, The Boss Lady, and Sherman from Fli Pelican attended the 1st Town Hall Meeting and I was utterly impressed. The Youth Members of New Olivet really came forward and took a stand for what they believed in and this is everything that Sneak Peek is about. Friday Prior To Going On Air at 107.1 FM DJ Spydermann Stopped By To Get His Photo Taken for Five for Five Friday and Started A Conversation About Music and DJing That Peeked My Interest To Know More. I have gotten Mixed Reviews in terms of how people felt in regards to us posting President Obama's Weekly National Addresses. Some people thought it was great and encouraged us to continue, while others believed it to inappropriate and suggested that we not do it anymore. While I welcome everyone into our doors both in store and online, one of our major goals is to not offend anyone through our music, the clothing we provide and the themes they cover, and our blog topics. With that said I just want to make it perfectly clear that this Blog is neither in Support or Non-Support of President Obama, we are In Support of the United States of America and we Support the idea of doing whatever needs to be done to get this country back to a healthy place where everyone can prosper. Oh I How I Love This Joint. Very Soulful, Very Hip Hop, Very Me. Especially as I have had my share of drama over the past couple of weeks, it has not been easy to keep one of these on my face. Me and The Boss Lady have been loving this song for a couple months now since I found it while looking for some other Alchemist music, now they have finally dropped a video for it minus Maxwell which I am proud to share with the people that tune into the Sneak Peek Blog. Alchemist new record "Chemical Warfare" drops Tuesday July 7, 2009 and I'm pretty geeked. He has been one of my favorite Producers for some time now, behind only DJ Premier and Kanye West. Well the Yeezy Saga has come and gone FOR NOW (New Releases Have Been Rumored But Nothing Confirmed) and though we had to sit outside overnight, I can't say I have had that much fun in some time. To hear people's stories about Sneaker Loving was crazy, and just the bonding and family that was created in that 16 Hour period sitting outside of City Gear on American Way was pretty dope. I met some new people from other cities and states that I will definitely be keeping in contact with, and got to spend some time with good friends from Memphis, that I normally don't see because we all live busy lives. Me and Corey arrived at 5:00PM on Friday June 05, 2009 Fresh Off Of Work and Dispersed around 9:00AM from 4641 American Way after a brief celebration. To see that type of line in front of Sneak Peek one day would be dope, so I keep working for the future. While on our journey for the Nike Air Yeezy's I composed a video blog that MUST be edited, I watched most of it this morning and it is pretty funny and interesting at the same time. I am also considering doing a YEEZY AUCTION at our next event for this last 2 pair, so if you missed out or just want to make some extra money by selling some shoes stay posted to the blog for more information. I May Not Always Agree With The Subjects The Rap Veteran Talks About and I Have Always Believed He Could Do So Much More, But Even I Can't Deny That He Makes Really Mezmerizing Music. Making My Rounds Through The Internet (Like It's A Place Or Something, LOL) I Found This Video, Which Is A Collaboration Between Yo Gotti and Jordan Tower Films. Honestly, I Really LOVE IT. Its Gritty, Its Street, Its Memphis, Its Gotti. I'm Really Looking Forward To His Upcoming Release As The Singles Released Seem To Give A Preview To A Hip Hop Classic (Yes I Said Hip Hop Classic). Originally rumored to be a Nike SB release, and now said to be with Nike Sportswear. Who really gives a f@ck either way, these are straight dope and a MUST HAVE for the Boss. With the 2009 NBA Finals about to kick off tonight its only right that I make my pick and let the world know who I'm riding with so there are no questions. Before I do that I also wanted to drop this new Lil Wayne joint paying tribute to one of the greatest Mr. Kobe Bryant of the Los Angeles Lakers. I was a little skeptical as I hate tribute songs but this one is pretty dope. Lil Wayne - Kobe Bryant As far as my pick goes for the 2009 NBA Finals . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . Drum Roll Please . . . . . . . . . . . . I'm Rolling With The Los Angeles Lakers in 4 Games. Yes I said it, the Lakers will beat the Orlando Magic and Dwight Howard in 4 straight games to claim the 2009 NBA Championship. I know more about basketball then anyone reading this blog and often those who get paid to make picks, so please don't argue with me. Just accept what I am saying and watch.
