F@cking Amazing: Nike Air Max Sculture By Benedict Radcliffe

Through Her I Gained An Appreciation Of Art and Culture, So I Decided To Post Something I'm Sure She Could Appreciate. Thank You Again From My Heart.

Found This While Visiting One Of My Favorite Blogs. It Was Done As A Commissioned Piece For Nike Sportswear, By Artist Benedict Radcliffe Of The United Kingdom (Click Here For More Info On The Artist). Radcliffe Is Well Known For His Wire Projects Which Have Included Replicas Of A Lamborghini, The Koenig Countach (Picture Below) and a Kawasaki Motorcycle (Pictured Below).

This Project Was To Commemorate The Launch Of The Dizzee Rascal Air Max 90 (Click Here For More Info On This Shoe).

Measuring 3.5 Meters Long and Sitting At A Undisclosed Height This Wired Sculpture Is A Direct Replica Of The Famed Nike Air Max. Just Look At The Detail On This Thing, and Thats Exactly Why It Got My "F@cking Amazing" Title. I A Fan On The Air Max 1 Over The Air Max 90, But The Project Is Dope and I Can't Deny That. Sneaker Freaker Magazine Caught Up With Mr. Radcliffe For An Interview (Check It Out Here). Enjoy and Until We Speak Again PEACE.

Portraits and Politics: An Art Exhitbition by Kevin and Joe Brisco

I Love The Support Sneak Peek Gets From Our Customers and Even More We All Love To Support Those Who Support Us. Last Friday Night The Sneak Peek Crew Along With Hypelife's Phatmack and Los The Scholar Took Some Time Out To Enjoy The Happenings on South Main Street. There Were Some Pretty Dope Events On The Block, But The Highlight Of The Evening Was The Art Exhibition Taking Place At The Antique Car Storage Facility One Block Away on Front Street. It Was Being Put On By One of My Favorite Customers Kevin Brisco and His Brother Joe. One Word "Dope", Two Words "Crazy Dope" As Every Piece Was Nothing Short of Amazing.

My Blackberry Camera Doesn't Do These Pieces Justice but At Least Those Who Missed The Show Can See What The Guys Work Is About. Some of the Pieces Are Still Available, So If You Are Interested or Would Like The Contact Info For The Brisco's Please Feel Free To Contact Us via Email At Info@SneakPeek-Memphis.com. Enjoy and Until We Speak Again PEACE.

Sneak Peek Presents: RaRa's World Webisode #1

Well, when around RaRa you never really know what will happen or what will be said so you kinda always have to keep the camera rolling. For those of you who have been by the store in the last few weeks know that she has been working really hard on a mural of Lil Wayne, based off the original artwork of Bob Marley and a Lion. We are pleased to let everyone know that she has finally done and the finished piece can now be viewed at the store. Feel free to comment and let us know what yall think and until we speak again PEACE.

Album Artwork for Kanye West - 808's and Heartbreak

The reviews for this album have been thumbs up and down. I have nothing but respect for those who can take a walk away from the normal and challenge themselves to do something different. Regardless to how you feel about the Voicebox thingy that seems to be Mr. West's instrument of choice for this album, you can't deny the edgyness and heart that he exposes. One thing no one can say about this new album is that Kanye is slacking on the artwork. He started hooking up with big name artist on the "Graduation" album and now again on "808's and Heartbreak" Kanye has chosen Brooklyn based artist Kaws to design a very limited album cover and insert booklet. For those who don't know "808's and Heartbreak" are due out Tuesday November 24, 2008. Check it out and let us know what you think.
