New Music Monday (On Tuesday): DJ Young Breezye x Bonafide - The Introduction To Greatness Mixtape

Talk About A Hustler, Then Surely The Name Of Local Memphis Rap Artist Bonafide Will Come Up. Not A Hustler In The Sense Of Standing On A Street Corner Shelling Out $5.00 or $10.00 Fixes To The Local Fiend, But A Hustler By The True Definition Of The Word As Someone Who Works Hard At What They Do or For The Product They Are Pushing. Have You Ever Had Somebody Call You So Much Asking You To Do Something That You Do It Only To Shut Them The Hell Up? Well This Was One Of Those Situations. I Totally Intended To Eventually Listen To The Mixtape When I Got Around To It, But I Don't Think Bonafide Would Allow Me To Get Much Work Done or Sleep If I Continued To Ignore The Artist or This Street Album Titled "The Introduction To Greatness". He Called Me Day After Day, Sometimes Two or Three Times Just To See If I Gave It A Listen. After Finally Getting To It Yesterday I Don't Think I Would Be Able To Get Much Work Done or Sleep Until I Blogged About It, Letting Yall Know Just How "DOPE" It Is. To Use The Word "CLASSIC" Would Be A Stretch, But Its Still Early In The Game For The Young Artist From South Memphis, Tennessee. To Call It "DOPE" Might Be A Understatement, Because It Is So Much More Then That. So I Will Just Consider It Something That I Feel The Rap Game, More Specifically, The Memphis Rap Game Is Missing "GOOD MUSIC". The Smooth, Nonchalant Voice Of Bonafide Born Mike Scott, Will Put You In The Mindset Of The OG Memphis Rappers 8Ball and MJG, His Story Telling Ability Truly Reminds Me Of A Very Young T.I, and When He Decides To Take It Back To The Block He Can Stand On The Same Ground As The Original Hypnotized Mind Click (Three Six Mafia, etc.). I Kinda Wish I Was Listening On A Long Ride To The Middle Of Nowhere Instead Of Cramped On A Bench Chair Waiting On My 1st Child To Arrive. Listening To The Tracks, You Can Feel All The Elements That The The City of Memphis Inspired. Some Are Smooth, Some Are Rough, Some Are For Lovers, Some Are For Haters, and Some Just Let You Know Bonafide Has Been Through The Struggle With The Rest Of The City. You Can Hear The Spirit He Took From Growing Up In Memphis, Which Is Divided By Black or White, Rich or Poor, Drug Dealers or the Educated, Germantown or North Memphis. Its Really Something On Here For Everyone To Enjoy. So To Lovers Of Hip Hop Music, That Read Our Blog I Encourage You To All To Download and Listen To "The Introduction Of Greatness" Mixtape Presented By DJ Young Breezye and Bonafide (Click Here To Download). You Will Surely Thank Me Later and I Thank Bonafide For Being So Persistent About His Product. Enjoy and Until We Speak Again PEACE.
