Sneak Peek Presents: RaRa's World Webisode #1
Well, when around RaRa you never really know what will happen or what will be said so you kinda always have to keep the camera rolling. For those of you who have been by the store in the last few weeks know that she has been working really hard on a mural of Lil Wayne, based off the original artwork of Bob Marley and a Lion. We are pleased to let everyone know that she has finally done and the finished piece can now be viewed at the store. Feel free to comment and let us know what yall think and until we speak again PEACE.

Hey Mr. President: President Obama's National Address February 24, 2009 (You Really Have To Watch This)
It took me a couple hours to load this video up, I had to debate with myself after finding that The Boss Lady has a crush on President Obama "I tried to turn into a hater but realized I couldn't really say anything bad about the man............. where does he work (he's the President), how money does he have (all the money in the World, he's the President), what kind of house does he have (the most desirable and sought after houses in America, the White House, he's the President)...................... So after getting over it, I jumped back on Team Obama and decided to do my part in helping this country re-achieve greatness. I'm telling yall please take the 10 minutes out of your schedule to watch this video, its really important if we want to grow right now. I will also say that you individuals that have contacted me about opening any type of business in the near future this message is for you. I would also suggest going to find the entire video online (which I couldn't), it's so important that we hear the entire message. As I have sated before, President Obama brings a level of Government transparency that we have never seen before. We hope you all enjoy this video and learn from it, as well as decide to do your part in the movement towards recovery. Please feel free to comment and until we speak again PEACE.

Kanye West and Kid Cudi Rip BET's 106th and Park
Well I guess if you look at most of our post you would think Lil Wayne and Kanye West got they hands in our pockets or something, but when hard work is put in we can do nothing but respect it, or you can hate it (Never a Good Thing). Anyway, Kanye West and Hip Hop's (not Rap's) newest star Kid Cudi came through BET's 106th & Park to rip the mic and that they did. Can't comment much cause I gotta get back on my Bob Vila (I have been building a desk all week long) but Mr. West kills it (explicit lyrics and all) and Kid Cudi did his thing. Hope Yall Enjoy and Until We Speak Again PEACE.

Kanye West: Speaking On Whatever Comes To His Mind
NO HOMO: But I think I Love Mr. West, you put him in front of a camera and something wild is bound to be said. Need proof watch this video as Kanye West (I don't know him to speak on a first name basis) expounds on just about anything and everything. A lot of accusations have been swirling around him lately, including questions about his sexuality, since his recent trip to Paris for Fashion Week, yet he hasn't been camera shy like most celebrities get when called out. He actually seems more comfortable now then ever, which is a GREAT Thing, because we all know we can never get enough of whats on his mind. Anywho, ENJOY, and Until We Speak Again PEACE.

New Music Monday: The Rocketeers - Party and Bullsh*t
Straight outta the Cold Cold Chi (Chicago, IL) The Rocketeers appear on Sneak Peek's New Music Monday for the second time with a straight banger. This joint is titled "Party and Bullshit" (duh) as they spit over the one of the great Notorious B.I.G's first singles. The chemistry these two display on every single I have heard them on has me anxiously awaiting the album. Check this out and let us know what you think. Also feel free to visit them online via MySpace at MySpace.com/TheRocketeersBaby and let them know what you think. We hope yall enjoy and until we speak again PEACE.

Blogging Again Finally: Sneak Peek Unplugged 1:1 - James Robinson
Let me first start off by apologizing, I'm human, and when your running a business sometimes you can't be (check out my personal blog which will start in a couple days if you wanna know more on that subject). I really enjoy feeding yall this information through the blog, but sometimes there are not enough hours in the day for me to complete new post. Trust that my time has been well spent, ordering, making sure new stuff will be on the shelves soon, paying bills, etc. I am making a personal commitment to this thing and I will uphold it no matter how tired or busy we are.
With that said I would like to introduce something new that we are doing, its called Sneak Peek Unplugged and we will film it on a monthly basis. No mics, no hype man, no band, just the artist and a invited audience (THATS IT). The first installment comes from James Robinson. He is a very soulful singer with a lot of talent, creativity, and ........... (I dont know what to put). As everyone knows I am really into Neo Soul, and Jazz so he is like a perfect combo of both. I hope yall enjoy and will continue to support this project (we are still working out the bugs, but this is what we got so far). Let us know what yall think and Until We Speak Again PEACE.

Grammy's Recap: Hip Hop Is Strong
I'm really not into the whole award show scene, honestly before yesterday I never watch. The right people never win, the right songs never get performed, the shows are boring but things were a little different last night. Entertaining, indeed it was, as I was treated to two (2) performances from my Dad (Jay-Z) and two (2) from my brother (Kanye West).
If you missed the "Swagger Like Us" performance check it out below.
I was actually able to put a face with a great song that I have heard before from Adele (but not often enough), but because she not singing about selling drugs and shes not African American I guess we will never hear her music in Memphis (sucks indeed). Anywho, I found myself watching, trying to find out what these stars would be wearing, what new trends to pay attention to, what new brands would be seen, and how they were wearing them. Unfortunately everyone was pretty suited up (Wearing Formal Suits and Tuxes) guess I will have to wait for the MTV or BET Awards. I did spot some accessories that I'm looking into right now, but before I get back to that, I just wanted to comment on some things. Before I start, I just would like to say this is no gossip blog, but every now and then the info reported can go in that direction.
- If what is being reported is true, 2 Thumbs Down to Mr. Chris Brown. We have all been in those situations before, but Real Men don't do it. WE JUST SHAKE THE SHIT OUTTA THEM (IT SCARES HER, AND NOTHING ELSE HAS TO BE DONE).
- T.I owes me and the rest of Memphis some money. We all went to his show in December expecting to get that T.I that performed last night with energy, heart, and a bunch of other stuff and instead got a sub-par T.I and Friends. NOT COOL, JUST MY OPINION, I STILL LIKE YOU THOUGH.
- I really hope that Lil' Wayne continues to go hard in the studio as he has been, the chips are stacked against him for ever winning the Album of the Year, but if the new material I have been hearing is gonna be apart of a album, he will surely get his eventually.
- M.I.A, please kill yourself for wearing that thing. Big Ups for performing while pregnant though.
- My Dad (Jay-Z) is getting and looking old. Its cool though cause he is the King and no one will argue that.
- Jamie Foxx had the best shades on at the show (I'm trying to find out what they were)
- Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson should return to wrestling.
- Why didn't T. Pain get to perform at the show? By far one of the hardest working artist in the game.
- I could just keep going, and going, but I'm not. I got a bunch of work to complete.

Sneak Peek's "Everything Thats Left" Sale. 25 - 50% Off Everything In The Store
Lil Wayne invades .................................
Why leave the sentence incomplete? Well because Lil Wayne invades whatever the hell he wants these days. ESPN, ABC News, The Grammy's, Your Radio, My Radio, Your Favorite Magazines, need we say more. If he isn't the hardest working man in the game right now, I would bet the store for someone to show me someone else. You might be able to argue the fact that he is the Best Rapper Alive as he claims, but most relevant right now on February 5, 2009 he definitely is and no one can say he isn't. Regardless to how you feel about him, I'm sure many of us wonder who he is, what he is, and what motivates him to go so hard. Well maybe this video interview with Katie Couric will help unscramble the misconceptions and rumors about the man. Enjoy and Until We Speak Again PEACE

The end result is a beautiful combination that can only be completed at Sneak Peek - Memphis.
So you have a pair of shoes with no shirt to go with it or a dope shirt with no shoes to rock with it. We have all been there before, and at Sneak Peek we are approached with this issue quite often. So we started thinking, we are sure alot of people go through the same things so what can we do to help. We all feel so good when we send a customer out the door with a Perfect Combination, and very rarely do we get a chance to see people in our clothes, so this blog segment is a tribute to the customers and staff who work hard to create these perfect combos. Some harder then others but never the less, everyone is happy in the end. Check out this and let us know what you think, more to come soon. Until We Speak Again PEACE.

Adidas Originals NBA All-Star Collection
For all of my Adidas fans out there, just wanted to hit yall with a little something to keep the mouth wet. The Adidas Attitude Low won't be dropping anywhere near here but if you know anyone who lives by a Adidas Original spot you should probably hit them up. These are special editions for the NBA All-Star Game in Phoenix, AZ that will be released around the time of the All Star Weekend which is February 13 - 15, 2009.
Side Note: Recognize the colorway, yep, yep thats it (I'm about to give the story behind the colorway straight from me, because I'm a Sneaker Freak). If your thinking I remember this colorway but don't know why, well these are the colors of the uniforms from the last time the All Star game was in Phoenix. No big deal right, well most Jordan fans will remember it as the first and only time Jordan wore the Icy White Patent Leather Nike Air Jordan 11 in a NBA Game (somewhat).
Only 500 pair will be manufactured and distributed so I would suggest yall get on it A.S.A.P. Enjoy and Until We Speak Again PEACE.
New Music Monday: John Forte x Talib Kweli - Homecoming
Well I have been debating all day as to which artist will make the New Music Monday segment, thanks to a new secret site, I have found so much music over the last couple days (and no we are not stealing, these artist want these records to be heard so they volunteer the tracks). Lil Wayne would be my obvious choice, no we are not Cock Riding, but dude is extra serious right now and Young Money is really coming along (maybe sometime during the week, when we have nothing else to talk about). Anywho, very surprising on the music scene this week has been Mr. John Forte, for those of you scratching your heads. John Forte was a artist from the Fugee's Refugee Camp who got caught up on some trumped up drug charges, he was convicted to 14 years in Prison but only served 7 before receiving a Presidential Pardon from now ex-President George W. Bush (one of the good things he did while in office). Guess Mr. Forte didn't spend his days just staring at the wall and lifting weights, because he came out of the hole spitting that heat. Check this collab he did with Talib Kweli over the Kanye West "Homecoming" instrumental. I'm sure much more will come from him in the near future. Glad to have another artist spitting that true, heart felt music. Enjoy and let us know what yall think, Until We Speak Again PEACE
